Meet our team of dedicated mental health and wellbeing professionals, including psychologists, provisional psychologists, social workers, and specialist trainers. Together, we provide compassionate, evidence-based support to help individuals and organisations thrive.

Sandy Rawson

Director / Clinical Psychologist

Sandy Rawson is a highly experienced and skilled Psychologist with a career spanning over 24 years in both government and private sectors. She holds a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from Charles Sturt University and has comprehensive expertise in psychological assessment, intervention, training, research, and supervision. Sandy has worked with a wide range of populations, across the western and far western regions of NSW including children, adolescents, and adults, addressing complex psychological, emotional, social, and behavioural issues.

Her clinical expertise is complemented by her ability to work across various settings, from government agencies to non-government organisations and private practice. Throughout her career, Sandy has worked in senior roles with organisations such as Uniting Western, Mac River Rehabilitation Centre, and the NSW Department of Justice. In these positions, she managed and led multidisciplinary teams, developed culturally appropriate programs, and contributed to policy development and procedural guidelines.

As a member of the Australian Psychological Society and registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, Sandy remains dedicated to advancing psychological practices and supporting her clients through evidence-based treatment. Integrity and competence are paramount professional values and she remains committed to rural and remote workforce development.

Courtney Hooimeyer

Provisional Psychologist

Courtney is a dedicated Provisional Psychologist with a Master of Professional Psychology and experience providing trauma-informed support to individuals facing mental health and psychosocial challenges. She has worked extensively with diverse clients experiencing family violence, trauma, anxiety, depression, and complex life stressors, offering compassionate care across multidisciplinary settings. She brings strong skills in communication, conflict resolution, psychosocial assessment, and case coordination.

Her recent work includes providing ongoing support to children and teachers in a regional NSW primary school, delivering trauma-informed CBT and group therapy. Courtney has experience supporting clients from various cultural and social backgrounds, including working at an allied health service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in Dubbo. Courtney is adept at building trust and rapport, navigating complex service systems, and ensuring clients receive the appropriate supports through safe and ethical care pathways.

With a warm, person-centred approach, Courtney integrates evidence-based modalities such as CBT and trauma-informed frameworks into her growing clinical practice. She is known for her calm presence, empathy, and professionalism, and is committed to ongoing learning, reflective practice, and supervision as she completes her internship toward full registration. Courtney’s passion lies in helping individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered, and she is dedicated to making a meaningful, lasting impact on the wellbeing of those she works with.
